Exposure meter
Selenium
The meter, is a device that allows you to measure the amount of light in a scene or that reflected by a person or an object that you want to photograph. With this measurement the exposure meter indicates the correct combination diaphragm / shutter speed. P>
Although nowadays every camera has a built-in one, for a while the hand-held exposure meter was indispensable for the activity of any photographer or for recording film scenes. p>
This exposure meter is the first in the series of the Weston Master manufactured since 1939 by Sangamo Weston Ltd in its factory in Enfield Middlesex, England. It includes measurement scales that make it equally useful for photography and cinema. It uses a photocell of selenium with which it does not require the use of battery. P>
