This is a 35-millimeter compact camera. Its name indicates that it was designed to carry it comfortably in trips. For this reason it became very popular due to its ease of use and low price with good photographic quality.

It has a selenium exposure meter powered by sunlight, therefore it does not require the use of batteries.

A very desirable camera also for the quality of its images, thanks to the use of a lens or objective (one of those that produced greater clarity in its time), Zuiko of 40 mm. With four focus areas: 1m, 1.5m, 3m and infinity, diaphragm apertures from f2.8 to f22 and two shutter speeds: 1/40 sec and 1/200

Configurable for sensitivities from ISO 25 to 400 (the first manufactured reached only up to ISO 200).

One measure of its great popularity is that over 16 million more than 10 million units were manufactured.
